We recently had the honor of speaking at both the Canada West Ski Areas Association and National Ski Areas Association National Convention about embracing change and designing your resort experience to better accommodate for today’s guests. Change is never easy, but it is necessary if we want to stay vibrant and meet the expectations of the next generation of resort guests.
People. Product. Process. The guest experience cocktail is made up of these three ingredients. Businesses that succeed over the next 10 years will be those that combine these ingredients in the best way to deliver value at all stages of the guest journey.
Today, the guest’s expectations are different from those of the past. In virtually every industry, customers will migrate to the companies that use technology to streamline transactions and rote tasks, provide quality human-to-human interaction, and reduce time the customer spends waiting in line.
